POSITION TITLE: Customer Installations Intern
REPORTING TO: Customer Installations Maintenance and Services Manager

SUMMARY
The Customer Installations department consists of a Technical Services Group
at the Head Office in Montreal as well as Technical Teams located at 10
customer centers across the country. The Customer Installations team is
responsible for installing and maintaining equipment at customer sites for
the storage or production of gases.
INTERNSHIP MANDATE
The goal of this opportunity is to assist in the improvement and development
of the Customer Installations Computerized Maintenance Management System
(CMMS). The Customer Installations CMMS is made up of planning, scheduling,
and inventory management software called Mainboss, a purchasing module in
Oracle 11i, and software for use on handheld computers and for supporting
Mainboss, which is being developed internally.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Modify existing data transfer software developed in .NET.
2. Adding and modifying tables in existing SQL database.
3. Screen development for handheld computers and maintenance software
development.
4. Design basic programming modules and flow chart for handheld and
maintenance software development.
5. Entry of data into Oracle and Mainboss.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / ABILITIES
3rd year Computer Science student
• Bilingual (a lot of work will be done in English)
• Sound knowledge of: C++, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET
• Knowledge of: SQL, Foxpro, MS Office
• Database development experience is required.
